Butler Farms
Lane and Kathleen Butler were both born and raised in the city and grew up with a passion for good food. After hearing stories about food better than anything you can easily get today, they were inspired, and not long after, Butler Farms was born.
While small when compared with other Bourbon County farms, Butler Farms has big ambitions when it comes to raising high-quality meat. They raise chickens, pigs, and beef cows for meat to sell locally.
The story of Butler Farms is one of hard work, ingenuity, and love for “the healthiest, tastiest, and most nutrient-dense food possible.”
Blooms of Bourbon County
Blooms of Bourbon County is located in Paris, KY on 40 acres surrounded by Stoner Creek. The main focus of the farm is to be a good steward of the earth. This means in their gardens, they avoid all harmful chemicals and promote biodiversity to create a healthier environment. During the season, they grow an abundance of fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and unique ornamental crops for their customers to enjoy.

Hatmaker Homestead
Hatmaker Homestead is located in Paris and owned by Drew and Holli Hatmaker. They grew up raising and showing large animals such as cattle and sheep. When they got married and had kids, they purchased their farm to begin growing and fostering the future of agriculture. They raise vegetables and poultry for meat and eggs and grow flowers. They also partner with other farms to offer weekly food baskets.
Robin Ridge Farms
Robin Ridge Farms is a family farm located in Paris and is owned by Ben and Savannah Robin. With their three daughters, they raise beef cattle and flowers.
“Our cow/calf operation is continuing to grow and we are looking to expand into new ventures. We will be offering retail beef as well as cut flowers and floral design. Like many other agriculturalists, we both have full-time positions off the farm. Ben’s strengths lie in both production agriculture and business management, while Savannah is an agricultural educator and advocate by trade.”
