Farmer Profiles
Happy Hens Homestead
Happy Hens Homestead - moved to a rural area in search of a simpler, healthier lifestyle and began with 5 chickens. They found themselves on a larger- more rural- family-owned property in need of care and love in eastern KY. They currently raise pigs, milk goats, laying hens and ducks, chickens for meat, and year-round produce and handmade soap with our goat's milk. They want to leave this land better than they found it and pride themselves on being good stewards of the land. They are always looking for new "modern" ways to help us live that more simple lifestyle.
Tattooed Unicorn Ranch
Tattooed Unicorn Ranch is a first-generation family farm run primarily by a very dedicated mother of four. She realized early on that she wanted her kids to know where their food was coming from, especially when it came to meat products. Now Tattooed Unicorn Ranch raises chickens, ducks, and rabbits, with the hope to expand to larger livestock in the future. Eggs and meat can be bought on the farm’s website and delivered to you.
Cedar Valley Farms
CVF is a third-generation family farm located in Hodgenville, KY. Mr. Jud Lee, the farmer, grows vegetables to fill spring, summer, and fall CSA shares. They raise pasture-raised pork, eggs, and grass-fed beef year-round. https://www.facebook.com/cedarvalleyfarmscsa/
