Hidden Cave Curly Horses
People often picture green fields full of horses when they think of Kentucky, but has that picture ever been full of curly-haired horses?
Well, now it can be.
HCCH, located in Burkesville, is owned by Jaro and Marion, who moved to Kentucky from the Netherlands.
Their passion for the rare American Bashkir Curly horse breed led to the establishment of the horse farm, where they breed, sell, and invite people to see their marvelous animals.
You can take riding lessons or just visit to hug a hypoallergenic horse.
Bush Creek Berries
On the edge of Burkesville lies 10 acres of Kentucky's best blueberries.
Bush Creek specializes in this single product, but they take great care in doing so.
Every berry is hand-picked, and the soil is well cared for. The family-owned farm has worked hard since 2004 to uphold its Kentucky Proud certification and grow the blue fruits that so many people love.
