VanBuren’s Market and Bancock Farms 

Van Buren’s Market and Bancock Farms are owned by the Daugherty family in Morgantown. 

The history behind VanBuren’s Market and Bancock Farms is a collaboration between many families, all with a passion for agriculture. 

The Kentucky roots stretch all the way back to 1875 when the first Daughters arrived from Ireland and established Bancock Farms.

The farm became connected with VanBuren’s Market more recently when the families became acquainted and the younger generations even married. 

Now, the two work together to provide beef, pork, vegetables, and much more to the local community. There is also a restaurant and produce shop on sight.

Everyone at the farm has a focus on providing an education about agriculture and where food comes from.
