Farm Profiles

Jericho Farmhouse

Started in 1965 by Creed & Helen Coombs, Jericho Acres Dairy farm has been passed down two more generations. Currently, the three partners are brothers Guy Coombs, Dennis Coombs, and Guy's son Curtis Coombs. At one time, they were milking 80 cows, but due to a change in the market, they decided to work toward milking a smaller number of cows to make and sell their own ice cream. In May of 2019 they purchased an ice cream trailer and will soon open a farm market that will provide a place for farmers to sell their goods along with allowing us to give tours to the public. Brother and sister team, Terry and Sharon Rowlett, have been operating a dairy in Campellsburg since 1974. They now make ice cream, cheese, and butter from their cows’ milk for local customers and restaurants.
