Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association

The purpose of the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association is:

  • To promote, protect, and improve the veterinary profession.

  • To cooperate with agricultural and conservation organizations in obtaining the enactment and enforcement of laws in Kentucky that will promote the health and well-being of all animals, including pets, poultry, and wildlife.

  • To cooperate with federal, state, county, and municipal officials and the inter-professional medical organizations in obtaining the enactment and enforcement of laws in Kentucky designed to protect the public health.

  • To disseminate information among animal owners that will encourage the application of scientific veterinary service.
